About Us:
History
Chestertown Physical Therapy was started in
1985 by Julia Bainbridge, PT.
In 1993 the
corporation became a certified outpatient rehabilitation center.
We
have grown from two PT’s and one aide to over 18 therapists
including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech
language pathology.
Shortly after opening we started providing the physical
therapy to patients at Kent and Queen Anne’s Hospital. Over
the 25 years in business we have provided therapy services
to Chestertown Nursing and Rehab, Heron Point, Kent County
School System, Home Health and Magnolia Hall (now Chester
River Manor). We added OT and SLP in 1993 when we became a
CORF. We currently provide OP physical, occupational and
speech therapy in our busy practice located in the
new Brian E. Bainbridge Health Building on High Street. We also provide PT and OT to the
Chester River Health Center and Chester River Manor.
Please see our FAQ
page for our exciting future goals and expansion.
